In summary:
- download and install Geant4. Check the exact required version in the Gate documentation.
- download and install root. Check the exact required version in the Gate documentation.
- download and install ITK. Check the exact required version. Optional but recommended.
- download and install GATE
Main tools:
- Everything is C++
- Source codes are stored in git repositories
- cmake is used as build system
